A LIFE SHAPED BY PLACE
From the
Balkans,
with soul
I grew up in Bosnia & Herzegovina and Serbia, in the former Yugoslavia, spent a lot of time in Trieste, Italy, and have been fortunate to travel throughout the world.
Along the way, I’ve experienced different cultures, landscapes, celebrations, and ways of life. Those experiences have shaped how I see people and places—and taught me that some of the most meaningful stories are found in the smallest, most unscripted moments.
Today, I call Vermont home, but my European roots and years of travel are always part of the way I see through a camera.

I’m drawn to what happens naturally—the nervous smile before
the ceremony, a parent’s expression when no one is watching, the laughter between photographs, or the way two people look at
each other when they’ve forgotten the camera is there.
